CVCA student "coupon clippers" highlight the benefits of "community based instruction"
CVCA instructor Mrs. Sanford and students participated in a "coupon clippers" project in which students demonstrated their learning by applying their skills to "real life" scenarios.

CVCA Students participate in the 3rd annual ACE Alliance for Education Fashion Show, May 11, 2013
Student designers and models participated in the ACE (Action for Climate Education) Fashion Show, Saturday May 11,2013. Students designed and modeled outfits created from recyclable materials including, but not limited to newspaper, plastic bags and paper; under the guidance of art teacher Ms. Marsha George.
JROTC Military Ball to be held at the Martinique Banquet Hall, Friday, May 10, 2013
The CVCA JROTC will host a Military Ball at the Martinique Banquet Hall. There will be a bus departing from the school to transport cadets to the banquet hall. The bus will return to CVCA at approximately 12:30am. A photographer will be present to capture the moment. Picture packages are available, starting at $10.00 for a basic package (1 x 8x10 and 8 Wallet).
Motorola Solutions receives the 2013 Addams-Palmer Award for exemplary civic involvement
Congratulations to our lead STEM program partner Motorola Solutions for receiving the Civic Federation’s 2013 Addams-Palmer Award for Exemplary Civic Involvement by a Corporation. The award will be presented to them at The Civic Federation's Annual Civic Awards Luncheon on Tuesday, June 11.
